Over the next four years, the airport will undergo expansion of the International Terminal and a revamp of the Domestic Terminal, which will focus on integration with the International Terminal, with convenient connections to facilities. The project is slated for completion in 2008.
TRANSFER BETWEEN TERMINALS There is internal access between the Domestic and International terminals, and there are domestic transfer check-in counters in the International Arrivals hall.

Transport to Christchurch city centre is available outside the Domestic and International areas of the terminal building.
