The Munich International Airport consists of two Terminals. The Munich Airport Centre (MAC) connects Terminal 1 with the new Terminal 2. A central Information Desk is located on Level 3 of the Main Concourse, with multilingual staff. Tourist information desks are also available on Level 4 arrivals and departures.

The Munich International Airport features underground car parks P1, P2, P3, P4 and P9. These offer short-term parking facilities. Short-term parking conditions entitle you to park your car in such an area for up to one week.

Buses, Trains and Taxis serve the Munich International Airport.
Commuter trains S1 and S8 both depart from the Munich International Airport every 10-20 minutes Monday to Friday 0435-0015, Saturday and Sunday 0535-0015 (S1) and daily 0405-0105 (S8). These trains travel to various stations in and around Munich. These include Munich Hauptbahnhof and Ostbahnhof, where connections are available to major German cities and destinations in Austria, Switzerland and Italy. The S8 bus service continues to run until after the end of the Airports daily operations. So delays are well taken care of.
Transfer buses are available to many regional destinations. Autobus Oberbayern operates a Lufthansa Airport Bus service to Munich Hauptbahnhof and to many cities in the region every 20 minutes. During large exhibitions, another bus service operates from the Airport to the München Messe exhibition centre once every half hour.
Many taxis are available from the Munich International Airport to the Munich city centre. The journey time is approximately 45 minutes.

In a survey of more than five million air travellers from 90 nations, Munich Airport was named the best airport in Europe and the number four airport worldwide for 2005. The World Airport Award 2005, based on the annual Airport Survey conducted by Skytrax, an independent air transport research body, is the largest customer survey of airport standards internationally. This year's survey, conducted between June 2004 and March 2005, focused on over 150 airports worldwide and asked air travelers to evaluate 30 aspects of passenger satisfaction-ranging from ease of catching connecting flights to the cleanliness of restrooms and security checks.
TRANSFER BETWEEN TERMINALS The Munich Airport Centre (MAC) connects Terminal 1 with Terminal 2.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS The airport is located just off the A92 between Munich and Deggendorf and is accessible from four motorway exits. Connect to the A92 from the A99 Munich ring road from southern and eastern destinations. INFORMATION AND HELP DESKS There is a Central Information Desk on the Level 3 Main Concourse (Central Area), with multi-lingual staff. There are also tourist information desks on Level 4 Arrivals and Departures in Terminal 1. CONFERENCE AND BUSINESS FACILITIES The Munich Airport Centre (MAC) has large presentation and event-hosting facilities. The MAC Forum (tel: (0)89 9753 4331) is used for events and exhibitions, with media and communications technology, technology support and catering. The MAC business service centre, Municon (tel: (0)89 9759 3200), has 35 well-equipped conference rooms, accommodating from four to 120 delegates. Security personnel, VIP service and relaxation rooms with bed and bath are available.
