Terminals
Raleigh-Durham International Airport consists of two terminals (A and C) which are served by many major airlines.

Car Rental
A number of prominent rental car agencies are located at RDU and a shuttle bus is provided from the terminals. Shuttles run approximately every 15 minutes and stop outside of each terminal near the baggage claim areas. The green bus shelters are marked 'Rental Car.' Thrifty Rental Car is located off airport premises and a shuttle service is offered for the customers.

Hourly and Daily Parking
The hourly and daily parking garages are located between Terminals A and C. They are the airport's most convenient and most popular parking spaces. There are 11,170 parking spaces within walking distance of the terminals and the new garage has 6170 parking spaces. Both these lots are charged hourly and daily.
Park & Ride Lots
Raleigh-Durham International Airport's Park & Ride lots offer over 11,000 parking spaces. Shuttle buses transport passengers from the lots to the terminals every 15 minutes. Park & Ride 3 and Park & Ride 4 offer a total of 7000 spaces. Park & Ride 2 and Park & Ride 5 offering 2700 parking spaces are they not open all year around but used as overflow parking when other spaces are full.
Parking for the Physically Disabled
All the parking lots at Raleigh-Durham International Airport consist of special designated spaces for the physically disabled. There are 450 disabled parking spaces at the airport.
Taxis, buses and trains, shuttle services, TTA vans and many other shuttle and limousine companies operate from the Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

Shuttle Buses
Transportation between the airport parking lots and the terminals is provided by the shuttle buses. Shuttle buses run every 15 minutes and it is provided from 4:00 am until 1:00 am or till the last flight. Purple Bus-3 operates from Park & Ride 3 to terminals A and C. Orange Bus-4 operates from Park & Ride 4 to terminals A and C. Orange Bus-4 operates from terminal C to terminal A. Purple Bus-3 operates from terminal A to terminal C.
TTA Van Transportation
The Triangle Transit Authority (TTA) offers public van transportation between Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary and Research Triangle Park and RDU. Passengers can get to the local bus and train stations from this service.

Terminal C is currently undergoing expansion and renovation, which will double its size and increase the number of gates.
TRANSFER BETWEEN TERMINALS Free buses run between the two terminals and the Park & Ride car parks.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS The airport is located at the mid-point between Raleigh and Durham, off I-40 and US 70. From Raleigh, take I-40 west to exit 285 (Aviation Parkway). From Durham, take I-40 east to exit 284B.
CAR PARKING There are hourly and daily parking garages and two Park & Ride car parks (tel: 919 840 2140) with courtesy bus services to the terminals. A further two Park & Ride lots are used for overflow parking. Travellers are advised to follow the electronic signs informing drivers of the nearest available car park. CAR HIRE Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Thrifty and Triangle are all located at the airport; shuttles transport passengers from outside the Arrivals areas to the pick-up areas.

Limousine: A number of companies operate from the airport to Raleigh, Durham and other destinations. Bus: An airport shuttle leaves from the baggage reclaim areas and delivers passengers to businesses and universities in the area. DISABLED FACILITIES All toilets, car parks and shuttles are wheelchair-accessible, with spaces reserved in all car parks. The terminal is fully accessible, with lifts connecting all areas. TDD telephones are available throughout each terminal. Passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel.
