Bmi will introduced twice-weekly flights from Manchester to Antigua, Barbados and St Lucia, with flights to St Lucia commencing on 1 December 2004.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS The airport can be easily reached using the East Coast road, the main link between the north and south of the island.
CAR PARKING There are spaces for 100 cars at the airport in front of the terminal building.
CAR HIRE Avis, Budget, Cool Breeze, Hertz and Thrifty car hire companies are all located at the airport.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT Air: LIAT (tel: 758 452 3051/2) offers air shuttles in light aircraft to many destinations around the Caribbean. Helicopter services are available on request from St Lucia Helicopters (tel: 758 453 6950). Road: Taxi: Taxis are available outside the terminal, running to Castries and the north of the island. Bus: The airport’s proximity to the East Coast road means that public transport is readily accessible; public buses stop on the road just outside the airport complex.
