Built circa 1760 as a hotel to provide accommodation for guests wishing to partake of the spring waters, Pannanich Wells is situated in a rural position on Pannanich Hill just over a mile from Ballater, overlooking the Dee valley. Externally Pannanich is a plain granite house freshened over the centuries. Internally Pannanich changes into a comfortable well-appointed hotel plus 2 self-catering cottages on site and one larger cottage off site in the centre of Ballater. The hotel and cottages are totally non-smoking. All hotel rooms are en-suite with shower or bath and shower, and have all the usual room accessories. The small cottages are equipped to a high standard, with king-size beds, en-suite bathrooms and stunning views across the beautiful Dee Valley. The larger cottage is of a high-to-luxurious standard, featuring a water bed, en-suite bathrooms with jacuzzi baths and showers, and a first floor lounge with great views from a heated balcony. A 25 deposit, ( non- refundable) will be taken from your card on receipt of the reservation. One twin room / kingsize double is available on the ground floor. Rooms 4, and 5 can either be twin or K/S doubles please let us know how you wish the room to be set. We are happy to provide you with an evening meal ( from a menu),But this arrangement must be made at time of booking. No dogs are allowed.
